Why build a new middle school?
Renovation of Lakeshore Middle School would cost 70% as much as building a new building
Reduce operational costs of maintaining 70-year-old facility
Logistically unable to build new school on current Lakeshore site while school is in operation

In addition to the school building-specific projects, the bond would provide funds for: a new multi-purpose facility for athletics, marching band, and the community; new music instruments; technology upgrades in every district building; new buses; renovations to the transportation pole barn; and mechanical upgrades at our Education Service Building.
